Austin Agency Life, Currently: February
In the blink of an eye, February has come and gone! As the month wraps up I’ve taken it upon myself to fill you in on anything and everything that’s *currently* happening here at Social Distillery.
Making: Dreams come true. Just kidding. We actually make social media content but if you’re reading this you probably already know that. This month we also made valentines, which actually probably did make some dreams come true.
Eating: All of the deliciousness that East Austin has to offer. We recently tried Flyrite’s chicken sandwiches and fell into an abyss of happiness. As you can see we’re also very loyal customers at SPUN Ice Cream. I think I can speak for the whole team when I say sorry we’re not sorry.
Wanting: SXSW. It’s so close we can taste it! In addition to supporting four of our clients at their various events, we’re excited about the #lastinline campaign we’ll be launching during SXSW. Intrigued? Stay tuned for details.
Feeling: Warm and fuzzy. Spring in Austin is the absolute bee’s knees. I’m *currently* writing this blog post on our office patio and I’m not even mad about it.
Enjoying: The amazing recognition we received from Forbes regarding our client JW Marriot and their awesome social media customer care.
Watching: Our favorite Super Bowl commercials. Our Community Manager, Shelly, made predictions about this year’s Super Bowl and she was spot on! We’re particularly crazy about this Subaru commercial because if you aren’t feeling all of the feels then you’re doing February wrong.
Loving: Our nomination as a Tech Madness Nominee! It’s an honor to be considered among the top community influencers in Austin and we’re excited for some friendly competition!
Listening: To social media advice from Austin Foodstagram creator Rachel Holtin. Our team members Hailey and Shelly attended Rachel’s Social Media Learnshop to get tips on curating content and gaining followers. The team also tuned into Spredfast’s Social Care Webinar to get valuable insight into social media interactions.
